Make a donation to the Sainte-Chapelle

By making a donation, you’ll be helping to showcase and preserve the monument, and to enhance the appeal of the local area. 

If you are a private individual, regardless of the amount of your donation, 66 per cent of the sum is deducted from your income tax (up to a limit of 20 per cent of your taxable income). For example, a donation of €100 actually costs you €34 and entitles you to a tax relief of €66. If this relief exceeds 20 per cent of your taxable income, the excess can be carried forward for five years. 

If you make a donation on behalf of your company, regardless of the amount:

- 60 per cent of the amount is deducted from your corporation tax, up to €2 million

- 40% applies to the portion of the donation exceeding this amount

In accordance with the Act of 1 August 2003 on patronage, associations and foundations, the amount of the tax relief is capped at 0.5 per cent of turnover excluding VAT, and may be carried forward over five tax years.
